Suburban Train for Kochi chugs today

The new Suburban Train for Kochi chugs today. Kochi-Thrissur Memu will start chugging from today 2:30 PM onwards. The 8 car train will stop at Ollur, Pudukad, Nellayi, Irinjalakuda, Chalakudy, Devine Nagar, Koratty, Karukutty and Angamaly, Chowara, Aluva, Kalamassery, Edapally, Ernakulam Town, apart from its teminus at Thrissur and Ernakulam Junction, for which it will take 2 hours to complete the journey. The train start from Thrissur at 10:50 AM and reach Ernakulam Junction at 12:50 PM and returns from EKM Junction at 2:30 PM. It will be just Rs 5 to cover immediate Suburbs of Kochi like Edappally, Aluva etc, while Rs 15 for destinations nearing Thrissur.
